Rene Niessner
Registered Behavior Technician
Rene is a behavior technician in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her path towards working with children, adolescents, and adults in the field of ABA began in 2020 where she expanded her knowledge through hands-on research supported experience, led acceptance and commitment therapy/training (ACT) sessions with both groups and individuals, and worked with various platforms and organizations. Rene has worked with clients of all ages in clinic, home, and school settings and more recently works primarily with ages 2 to 12 year olds in home settings and school settings. Her passion for the field and for the care that she provides within it has grown and developed as the people she meets do. Rene believes that every person has differences and similarities and that understanding each person she works with on an individual and collaborative level is of great importance to their care.
